Sign up for a fun, creative week of Spring Break camp! (April 2nd-6th)

We are partnering with the Scrap Exchange for this year's Spring Break Camp! Elementary students will take things apart...every child's dream! Then we will transform pieces back to a new form, a new building, or a new machine. Early Childhood students will explore different materials to build art in all sizes, shapes, and forms! The Scrap Exchange Instructors will work with the children for an hour during the morning between 10 and 11 am. They will be guiding our Early Childhood children on Monday and Tuesday, and then  the Elementary children on Wednesday and Thursday. During the afternoon, the children will continue working on their projects if they wish. The rest of the week will be filled with outdoor games and indoor activities with friends. Registrations can be made through the online portal.

Giving Tuesday

Consider supporting the MCHD playing field this Giving Tuesday! Donate online.

MCHD School Board’s Development Committee is guiding the efforts to build a turf playing field on campus (next to the Multi-Purpose room) to replace the empty mulch patch. We’ve lined up a contractor to make a more permanent 40 foot by 60 foot playing field suitable for soccer, volleyball, and badminton. They’ll build a retaining wall, fix drainage issues, and add artificial turf and fences. They’ll even provide attachment points for volleyball nets and other equipment.

The entire project totals $60,000 and we’re hoping to break ground next summer (2018). Through donations and pledges, we’ve already raised about half of that! We’re hoping other MCHD families or friends will consider pledging to our campaign, either through monthly, semi-annual, annual, or one-time gifts.
