After School Care

MCHD is pleased to offer quality After-School care to our families for children ages 3-12. In this home-like, electronics-free environment, students enjoy indoor and outdoor play time, and an opportunity to practice the social aspects of their Montessori education in after-school time.

Housed in a separate facility across the street, the program uses the layout of the house for lunch and snack, play, quiet rest, and creative activities in different rooms. A large, finished attic provides space for special classes, as well as a quiet place for older students to read and engage in extended projects. With a full kitchen, basement, and beautiful backyard, going to Little House is almost like going home after school.

There are a variety of after-school days and pick-up times to choose from in order to fit your family’s schedule. Drop-In Care is available for occasional needs as space permits. Little House also offers No School Camp on Teacher Workdays, Parent-Teacher conference days, Orientation Week, and Winter and Spring break.

MCHD is pleased to announce that for the 2012-13 school year, all students preschool age and older will be eligible for After School Care until 6:00pm.

Please note there is no After School Care available for children enrolled in the Pre-Three Program.

After School Fees
Annual rates listed below are for the 2011-2012 school year and are in addition to MCHD tuition. Fees may be paid annually, semiannually, or over ten months (July 1 to April 1).
